In theory, Yes. However, the cacao tree (which produces the cocoa beans from which we get chocolate) is a tropical creature. It does not do winter. Plus, it needs to be grown in the shade or understory of larger plants. The seedlings will need to be nursed along for at least ten years before they are mature enough to produce pods.

But, theoretically, if you were going to plant a tree - you would need to mail order seeds, if you do not currently live in a cocoa-producing country.
