I have a potted callalily that I want to transfer to the yard. When and how do I do this? Some of the leaves are starting to get yellow. I don't know how much light or water it should be getting, as it was given to me with no instructions. Thanks!

calla lillies need alot of water, they can get by with a little less sun and feed it once it has gotten established. If you are not in a zoone where you can leave it out all year maybe you could repot and bring it in in the fall.

It depends on your zone. Calla lilies are okay to stay in the ground if your temps don't get too low, and no heavy frost. Otherwise lift them and store between 50 to 60 degrees.

Remember the common white callas are more hardy than the colored varieties.

JUST PLANT IN A HOLE THE SIZE OF THE POT IT IS IN NOW, MAKE SURE IT IS BURRIED TO THE TOP OF THE STOCK BOTTOM, JUST WATER IT IN, NOT TO SLOPPY JUST LET IT SOAK IN AND IT WILL BE FINE, DIG IT BACK UP IN THE FALL BEOFRE THE FIRST FREEZE AND STORE IN A BROWN PAPER SACK TILL SPRING TIME AGAIN THEN RE PLANT
