I like the kinds of plants that look like the aloe vera(I already have one) and is a desert plant. For the size, I'd like it to grow atleast over a foot tall, and not to grow out out of the roof. It will be spending it's days outdoors and nights indoors. The place where it's going to be is room tempurature around 75 degrees, well lit, and a constant chirping of budgies.
What plant should I get?

I have a small dead tree in my front yard and I would like to replace it with a bearing fruit tree. Can anyone provide me with a list of fruit trees that grow well in my area? Or even better, point me to a place or a website that can tell me all fruits and veggies that grow well here?

All at once, for unknown reason, cats have started to hang around my house, yard and garden. I have dogs, but no cats. I like all animals and do not want to hurt any, but these cats have to go' Under foot, always crying and begging and keeping my dogs upset. No-one can tell me how to keep them away without harming them.

I love roses but I can't plant large bushes around my condo. I need a smaller rose that can be grown in pots if at all possible. My plot gets morning through early afternoon sun. It faces north-east. I live inSaint Louis Missouri, U.S.A. What's some of my options?

it has large leaves(smaller than a squash) and white flowers turn into prickely egg shaped seed pods at the crook of the branches. Grew to about 4' tall. Died about the same time as my squash plant and I would say it is a vegetable of some sort.

My neighbor bought a chipper. He's gathering pine and cedar needles, chipping up elderberry branches and other yard debris and wants to know the best way to compost and make good rich soil for growing organic vegetables and flowers.

Hi, I am planning to de-weed many flower beds in yard and cover with weed cloth. What kinds of experiences have you had and do you have any suggestions for best brands and how well it works. I used it once 5 years ago for a smaller area, and found that many weeds grow right thru it.??? Also, would it be possible to just use fabric I have bought to sew on and don't want any more ? Would this cause a problem ? Any landscapers/gardeners out there with some good insight ?

Just wondering. I live in southern Ontario and you can grow peaches here. Just need to know if it's possible to start a tree from a seed and how to go about doing it.

My lawn is about 1/5 weeds. And I want to make it a perfect lawn. This spring I am going to put down pre-emergent, but I know that there will still be ones that will come up. As well as the ones already germinated. So I have heard that it is good to fertilize reguraly your lawn and to spray a post emergent like 24d or MSMA on your lawn to kill clover and other broadleaf weeds as well as any crabgrass or grassy weeds that come up in your lawn when the weather is mild , but not too hot (so it wont damage your grass). I also plan to aerate and seed my lawn in the fall.
Is this the only and best way to renovate my lawn to perfect state? how long will it take?

Hi, I am considering the above unit for use around the garden. Mostly to edge lawns, keep weeds down and some cultivating. Do you, or any one you know, have any experience with this brand? Do you know any for sale? Thanks in anticipation. David
