I have a small dead tree in my front yard and I would like to replace it with a bearing fruit tree. Can anyone provide me with a list of fruit trees that grow well in my area? Or even better, point me to a place or a website that can tell me all fruits and veggies that grow well here?

A wonderful fruit tree for your front yard might be Keiffer Pear, which is self-fertile and is hardy to your zone. For an apple, you could try the Jonathan Apple, which is also self-fertile. Peaches apparently do QUITE well in your area, as do pecans, but if you are looking for a smaller tree, stay away from the pecan.

Okay, for a website, I'll drop in some links at the bottom...
