I know that weeping willows have an extensive root system. I would love to have one in my yard, but i hear the root system would ruin the plumbing. How far from the house should it be planted?

I live in the Philadelphia suburb area. I have a 3-4 foot hole in my back yard from an old above ground pool that was 8 feet deep...yes this was the pool from hell. Anyway - I already have the bulk fill (plus an amazing amount of pavers the previous owners loved to use around the yard) currenlty in the hole or soon to be. But I will still need I estimate b/t 10-15 cubic yards of topsoil to level out the back yard b/f I plant grass.

I have a project for school and was wondering what type of tree this comes off of. If I could get a link with a picture it would be great. It it about an inch wide with prickly things on it and it is brown and it has a stem. I thought it might be sweetgum of chestnut but all pictures I can find don't look like it.

Okay, so I bought them 48 hours ago and they're already wilty. :( I have them in pots with potting soil, and I water them (but not too much). One of the plants is very wilty. They stay in the sun all day and outside at night. Is it the cold nights? It can get down to about 50 at night... too much sun? Any other possibilities?

I have an herb garden growing in pots outdoors. They were started from good seed and planted in a top grade potting soil. They have plenty of direct sun or I can drag them in the shade. Cilantro, basil and a few others. The plants were thriving, very green in the beginning. Due to a hot summer and a few heat waves, I had to water the plants daily or they would droop. All of a sudden, I noticed the cilantro getting yellowish speckles and then loosing their intense green color. I did put a few drops of Miracle Grow in the water can from time to time. I want to bring the plants back to where they were. They aren't dying, just not getting as green as they should be. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to get them healthy again?

My tomato plants have tomato grub poops and have eaten leaves by these green grubs. Where the heck do they come from? Worms can't fly.
