I live in the Philadelphia suburb area. I have a 3-4 foot hole in my back yard from an old above ground pool that was 8 feet deep...yes this was the pool from hell. Anyway - I already have the bulk fill (plus an amazing amount of pavers the previous owners loved to use around the yard) currenlty in the hole or soon to be. But I will still need I estimate b/t 10-15 cubic yards of topsoil to level out the back yard b/f I plant grass.

Here in NC, I am getting some delivered on Saturday...For top soil mix for raised beds. It is 18 dollars per cubic yard, and 30 dollars to deliver it.

Why don't you check also with whatever center you are going to have deliver, to bring you gravel or something to fill the deep part of the hole and then just put a couple of feet deep of the top soil?

I used the calculator at the link below to calculate how much I would need, and when I called the owner confirmed I was right in how much I needed.

Good luck!

Fill with gavel or sand to withing 1to2 ft of the top , then soil, ask for fill dirt it might be less expensive. Where I live the delivery is the expense. Why didn't you try selling the paver's to offset cost of fill. Also have you considered a pond feature with gold fish and a fountain
