I think that is what I have...It has leaves that are shaped like this: (l) and it is growing great inside. I have one in a hanging basket thing and then I cut some of it off and it is in water vases adn then some is in pots. Now I am wondering if they can grow outside too?

**I am living in Jpan and it is not very hot where I live, so they woudln't burn to death!**

Of course they will grow outside ! Before there were homes ALL plants grew outside.... keep in mind if you have any winter, or temps that get down past 45 f degrees these plants will not fair well outside for long. : ) They like partial sun nothing too hot! Shade does them well.

I've had split leaf philodendron's growing outside in a shady area in NE Fl for 15 years. We have freezes (not severe) but the plants always come back with vigor.
