I have a large pot and some soil ready to go, I'm thinking I would put them where where we get morning sun...and I could bring them inside if we hid triple digit temps...these are 40 year old bulbs I was gifted with and really don't want to screw it up.

This is our first summer in this house, and we are discovering all of the plants that the previous owners planted. This is either a very large bush or a small tree. The berries are bright red and are the size and shape of cherries. They have a pit in the center and the flesh inside is white. Does anyone know what these are??
