Gravely is known for making good tractors. They are made right here in the USA. My grandpa had a Gravely for years and it worked great. I've heard that they've had their ups and downs as far as quality though. My grandpa's was supposed to have been one of the better built ones. From what I've also heard, many people collect them as collectors items since they are kind of rare.

My husband just got himself one. He cuts about 6 acres of yard, and it has cut his mowing time from about 10 hours a week down to about 3 hours. He loves it so far.

I have never heard bad things about them but I also dont see to many of them. The leaders are WRIGHT; SCAG; JD; WALKER in walk behinds. Riders are WRIGHT; DIXIE CHOPPER and JD. It all depends on how much it cost and what you are using it for. Good Luck
