I purchased three lacebark elms and was assured by the nursery they were all alike eventhough one has smaller darker leaves and the branches are shorter and trunk whiter with almost small lines in the bark. The leaf pattern is the same, but they said it looked different because the other two had been in the shade. It does look similar, but enough for me to tell the difference, it almost resembles a live oak leaf in the way it curls slightly at the edges and not flat like the other two. They assurred me it was just the shade, but I am beginning to wonder, I planted them yesterday in a small cluster to resemble a multiclump to save money. Did I get what I paid for?

My tomatoes are probably about 5'5" they are getting tomatoes on them but the plants are so tall that they have outgrown their cages in height and width. The branches are begining to bend and there are tomatoes past the bends and I am afraid that the tomatoes are going to die or not produce properly. what should I do? Can they be pruned this is my first garden with vegitables I mastered flowers first now I am attempting the veggies!

I live in missouri and a couple of months ago i bought some mulch at a lumber yard, within the last month ive been noticing this absurd looking fungus growing all over, it resembles spray can insulation, and is wet to the touch, it dries out then turns into a black powder that turns into a fog in the air when water hits it, it goes everywhere, but doesnt get wet? I am concerned for my two small boys, and i want to know what the bajeezez it is and how to get rid of it, my 8yr old told me it was from mars!

I am thinking about starting a landscaping business next summer. While reading info on starting a landscaping business, I came across a site that said most states require you to be a licensed landscape architect in order for you to be a landscaper. I live in Tennesssee, and I was wondering what laws apply here in that regard. I searched for a while online, and I can't find anything.

Thanks a lot,
Me

The backyard to our family's house is big but not too big and it has a small forest in the south west corner. We are trying to plant flowers along the edge of the forest but they never get enough sun to thrive. Is there any product that will work or a form of artificial sunlight? Any help is appreciated.

The plants themselves are big, green and healthy looking, but the zuccini is turning yellow, and NO they are NOT the yellow variety. They are supposed to be dark green.

Is it too much water? Not enough water? Soil deficiency?
