Grasshoppers eating my plants!

I have never tried the pepper juice recipe, but I have heard that it works. I was advised to use habenaro though. You might use a mixture of the two.

You could try Seven dust. That is an all purpose chemical that is fairly safe. Grasshoppers are tough, though. Sometimes they take a real strong dose of chemical. You might consider Malethiaon for flowers. You can use it on veggies, but read the instructions VERY carefully. I would try the pepper mixture or the Seven on veggies first.

spray with hot pepper juice. get some cheap ground cayenne pepper mix 1 tbs per quart of water. it's all natural,can be used on edible plants and keeps all bugs from eating whatever you spray it on.

I catch them and step on them. They don't reproduce that way.
