WOW! Reading some of the answers here--quite impressive! Wish I had the time and talent, but being single, with a house and rather large lawn, plus landscaping, flower beds, herb garden, and all the other stuff that it takes to keep a house running, I almost bagged the veggie garden this year. But, I'm too into the fresh veggies, freezing for the winter and early spring, and homemade pickles, relishes and chow-chow.

We have an artichoke plant, 1 serrano and 1 jalepeno, 1red and 1 green bell pepper, 3 lemon cucumbers, 1 tomato, and 2 italian squash. All the veggies are still green at this point, but they should be ripening up real soon. I can't wait.

I have a very limited amount of space but always feel the need to plant something. Tomatoes are so easy and taste great fresh and my other favorite is pumpkins. Pumpkins take a lot of room if you let them grow to be pumpkins, but we like to eat their blossoms. Try is some time, soak them in salt water and remove any ants, then fry them in flower, butter and pepper. Quite a treat!

Yes!! I've loving it!!
I planted corn, zucchini, yellow squash, butternut squash, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, eggplant, two kinds of tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, radishes, cantaloupe, watermelon, sweet peas, pole beans, spinach... and I still have some herbs to plant.
It's GREAT!! Fresh out of the garden vegetables are SO, SO much better than store bought (fresher, sweeter...). Mine are organically grown, of course.
:D

Yep downsized though so summer crops tomatoes, corn, zuchinni, and cucumbers. Fall will get some radish, kale,, brocolli, califlower
To the person that planted Silver and Candy corn. I hope you spaced the two kinds far enough apart so they don't cross pollinate.

Along the fence line (so we don't have to weed eat) we have corn, grape tomatoes, yellow squash, watermelon, cucumber, dill, bell pepper, raspberry bush, blueberry bush. We picked the first cucumbers today and are going to have them with salad tonight. The corn is just beginning to show ears and everything else is blooming.
