I am concerned for my two small boys, and i want to know what the bajeezez it is and how to get rid of it, my 8yr old told me it was from mars!

Azcurb is right in so far as the type of fungus. I live in TN, and we frequently see it after alot of rainfall. It grows on the surface of the mulch, and in its beginning phase, we refer to it as dog vomit, because that is exactly what it looks like. Whitish yellow and slimey. Once it dries out, the dust you are seeing is millions of mold spores dispersing into the air. These spores spread to affect other areas. And no, they are not good to inhale. Some folks try spraying a fungicide, but as a landscaper, whenever I see it, I scoop it up with a shovel and put it in a trash bag to be disposed of. Preferably before it dries out.

A friend told me she saw this in her paper and I think I also got it through an email forward. It was about buying, or not buying, mulch this year because they were grinding up the old water logged trees, for mulch, (to get rid of them) from the hurricane damage in Louisiana and it was containing some nasty stuff. I'd try to check it out on line.

It's called Dog Barf Fungus and the only way to totally remove it is to scoop it up. You can mix it up in the mulch if you want, that usually takes care of it for awhile, but it will come back. keep your boys out of the flower bed and they'll be all right.

It sounds like Soot mold. 99% Sure. Do an internet search and you can look at pictures and discriptions. I would keep my boys away until I got rid of it. Mold is bad for children and elderly.

if she doen't understand what is going on, of direction you need to tell her, that is treatable with out having to bypass to a doctor. get an emory board and run it for the time of all of your nail a number of cases ( to open up the nails floor) then dip a q-tip in clorox and practice to nail in undemanding words. try this everyother day for a pair weeks, works!
