I have been having a problem with my tomatoes this year. I have them in large pots outside, and the bottom of most of them are black and rotting. they look so good on the top half but just as they are beginning to ripen, they start to rot. What can I do to help prevent and stop this from happening. I have tried a spray you get at wal mart that is supposed to stop it and it didn't help at all. Please help me, all my tomatoes are going bad on the vine.
Thanks

I have a 3-tiered Lucky Bamboo plant that is growing bigger all the time. It looks like it is getting too big for the little container it's in now. Should I put it in a bigger one, and should I loosen the ties that hold the tiers together? And is there a way to prune them? The stalks just keep getting longer and taller.

We are going to pull out all the shrubs and bushes from the front of our house. We would like to put a low lying ground cover down instead....maybe with some little flowers. The area gets direct sun in the early-mid afternoon and none in the morning. Any suggestions? (I also like low-maintenance!)

I use a teracota pot filled with water and mud to grow lotus plants. But mosquitos keep breeding in the water. I live in Sri Lanka and it's hard to find any biological agents that stop mosquiti breeding. Does anyone know any way I can stop this ?
