dig down about 6 inches from the level you want the brick put down 4 inches of gravel and level it then put down 2 inches of sand and level it then put your bricks down put sand on top and sweep it in to the cracks

You might also check the Hometime.com website. They have information on laying pavers. The procedures for pavers and bricks are really the same.

ther are many ways but the wqay we did it is we laid our brick out in way we wnted and work thn cement around them
