Most of those posted above are beautiful flowers, but require more moisture. New Mexico is much like the climate of Colorado where I'm at. Hot and dry. For best results, plant xeriscape and low water usage flowers.

Try: hedgenettle, salvia, nepeta, coreopsis, artemisia, catmint, sage, iceplants, agastache, penstemon, hummingbird mint, dianthus, hollyhocks, blanket flowers, lavender, coneflowers, lambs ear....and many many many more!

If you anywhere near Santa Fe, and even if you not, I recommend visiting High Country Gardens. A fabulous nursery for your climate. Here's a link:

i live in texas so i would think the weather there should be close or the same as here,so here are some that do good! cannas,gladiolas,lillies,iris
