Like food in your back yard right now I have grapes, apples, and pears.

Most any fruit or vegetable that thrives in a temperate climate will grow in Colorado. Some crops need to be irrigated in some parts of the state.

Colorado is my homestate! Our biggest vegetable crop here is potatoes, followed by onions. After that, it's dry beans, carrots and sweet corn.

Southern Colorado produces a lot of chile peppers. There is even an annual chile & frijole festival that draws thousands of people.
