my venus flytrap closed but it didnt opean back up?

When the trap is open, do not tickle the flower as it forces the trap to close. If the trap is empty, the flowers has wasted its limited amount of stored energy and must wait until the plant can rebuild its energy resources to force open another trap.

Give it time.

once they close, the individual traps are done for. dont' worry! another one will grow and eat more flies or whatever you're feeding it!
