looking for comments, suggestions:

i want a heavy duty extension cord for my rv.
i want to run a small tankless water heater (which i was told at the store is 220 40amp and 8 gauge would work),
and an average home size arc or mig welder,
a 15amp space heater,
and another 15amps or so of other things.

the water heater and welder and maybe the space heater will not be used simultaniously.

i want a breaker at the main box leading to a stove/dryer outlet next to the box,
about 100' waterproof? flexible? cord with stove/dryer plug and outlet on each end -
which plugs into another stove/dryer plug at the rv, which powers a box in the rv. i want a main breaker on the box that will go off befor the breaker at the main box.

i was thinking of using something like a 8/4 cable with 2 wires for black for water heater and welder, one more black and one neutral for the rest.
and maybe the neutral could double as a ground for the other two?

i'm taking an interior design class and i have to answer a question for a "client". a teenage girl has a large, colorful bedroom. one small wall is a hot pink, the small one with a window is a medium blue, a main wall is a rich purple (not pinkish or bluish) and the other main wall is a deep, bright green. all of the walls have a yellow and an orange stripe running horizontally around the room. she loves the room, but wants to tone it down a bit WITHOUT repainting it. i need specifics and i'm out of ideas so....yeah....
PS the family has a $50 budget to work with.

My house was built in 1951 and I would like to remodel the bathroom and was concerned about the matierials I'd be working with. I know I have asbestos in my basement tiles which is why I'm asking. The bathroom tiles are original and ceramic but what holds them is kind of like a concrete mixture over a metal grate for support. When it's broken up its really fine and gets everywhere. Is it possible asbestos was used in any of the materials I'd be working with?

would like to add a bathroom in the basement. The problem is there is not vent stub out. I plan in putting in a sink, tub, and toilet. I also plan on having a utility sink and a bar sink. These are on the oppisite side of the house. There is a vent that is attached to the upstairs tolet that is accessable. But, I don't think I can use that because the toilet upstairs is above all the sinks downstairs. Also, it is about 30-40 feet away from the basement bathroom. What I was thinking of doing is putting another vent NEXT to the vent that is attached to the upstairs toilet. Then connecting the basement with the upstairs toilet vent in the attic. The vent in the attic is a 4 in stack that goes to the roof. The upstairs toilet attaches to that. Am, I on the right track? The basement is pre-stubbed.

I'm looking to sell my condo to get a bigger place. Wondering whose had good experiences with what companies. I tried First Weber and didn't like my realtor very much. He didn't really help us at all. Any suggestions? Also, I'm looking for any suggestions to help my place sell better.

I bought my condo about two years ago. I installed a new ceiling fan in my living room, which works great. I also bought a ceiling fan for my bedroom. I installed it the same way as the one in the living room, but the light doesn't work. The fan works just fine. Is their something wrong with the wiring, or the fan? I've changed the light bulb, so it isn't that.

I have tried using a jigsaw with Bosch blade T101BR (supposedly optimal for PVC), but the pipe snaps off unevenly about halfway through the cut.

This is for an outdoor furniture project so I don't want any sharp edges on the pipes. Any tips for smooth cutting would be appreciated.

I got one of those mounted shower soap dispensers (like this: http://www.amazon.com/Shower-Soap-Dispenser-Mirror-Cabinet/dp/B0007W7QF8/ref=sr_1_24/104-6223302-8143143?ie=UTF8&s=bedbath&qid=1172852544&sr=1-24). I put it up with the stick-ons and the silicone glue as it said in the directions, but I can't figure out how to take it off now that I need to move! The directions don't say anything about how to take off the silicone glue, and I know that's what's holding it on. Help?!

I don't know the exact measurements of what the fenced area would be because this is just a hypothetical question. We are looking at houses in Florida and hardly any of them have backyards, they just have open space. We have 2 kids who need a fenced in yard.

I would estimate that the fenced area would be equal to what most people consider to be a good sized back yard. Any advice on how hard it would be to erect a gate by ourselves and how expensive it would be? I'm totally clueless about this stuff! Any help would be appreciated!
