Hi,
I am installing a electrical panel on my new addition. My question is should I mount it directly onto the plywood? Or should I wait until the addition is stuccoed before I mount it? or is there a better way. I am going to mount it on the outside, instead of between the studs.

Thanks,
pb4sc

I have a red microfiber couch and a VERY dark brown leather chair. My coffee table and end tables are back metal with glass tops. My entertainment center is black. The area rug has black and brown in it...pulling those 2 colors together. The red couch has got an orange tint to it? I have seen hunter green, many times, the other color. I am just very bored with the brown and black, but can't afford to change them right now. The couch is from Ashley furniture. They have bright colors- green and yellow- with the red couch. Almost looks like a child's playroom. I want to brighten up the room. OH! and until May, we (my husband and I) are renting. So, I cannot paint. The walls are a beige color (with a yellow tint). I am 21 and he is 24...so we like the modern appeal as well. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I hate sitting in my LR. Thank you.

I need help please! My son has a room in the basement, two of the walls are cement. We let him and his friends all write on the walls with washable markers BUT they also have decided to spray paint on some of it! My landlord is selling the duplex we live in...we will still live her but, he has a realtor coming today and shortly after potential buyers will be coming through. How do I get those walls covered and what do I use??? Any suggestions is GREATLY appreciated!!

I'm taking up the old tiles in a kitchen. Since I need a level strong subfloor for the new tiles what is the best way to do this? I was going to scrape and possibly sand or grind the old mortar down so I would have a new base. My concern about placing hardibacker even 1/4" is that this would now raised the level of the floor higher than the adjacent living space (open flr plan)

I would like a wooden table and chairs (either 4 or 6 chairs), and I don't mind second hand just as long as it looks nice. Any ideas? The cheapest for the best is what I'm trying to accomplish.

I read in an interior design magazine before that certain colors can make a room look larger or smaller. I'm looking for help choosing colors for my very small bathroom. The room has very little wall space & right now the walls & ceiling are off white. The floor is beige and hunter green ceramic tiles w/green grout.

What colors would make the room apprear larger?

I inherrited a very nice oversized vase. It has glass marbles to put in the bottom. You fill the vase up with water and place the glass fish in the mock "aquarium" which float by a string and glass bubble. I know where they were purchased but the shop no longer exists.

Do you know where I can get these? List a website if possible.

I will be installing laminate floor in a L-shaped section of my house. The longest part is 32.3 feet and the widest part is 23.4 feet. Will the normal 1/4" expansion gap all around be enough? I don't want to add an expansion gap in the middle of the floor if I don't have to.

I am considering engineered flooring of good quality, since you can get better value for exotic wood. the sample i am considering is natural dark wood, which is expensive with solid hardwood. the Aluminum oxide coating with prefinished flooring cannot be applied on site, and makes the wood more resistent.

What is it called when you tile the floor with different colors and sizes of pieces of tile where sharp edges have been rounded down and everything is placed and grouted to give a sort of a mosaic appearance? I am trying to find information on how to do this. My husband and I have two different types of tile that we want to break and place on the floor to give our kitchen a very unique look without the average square tile look.

any links or info would be appreciated!
