Any shade of blue would be great! orange or yellow would also work. You could photocopy a section of the comforter and take it to the paint shop with you if you want to match any of the colors in it without taking the whole comforter. Blue for a bedroom is suppose to be calming.

I would choose 1 bold color and a more muted one and an accent color that is somewhere in the middle. Paint one wall, depends how the room is set up as to which one, and paint that one wall the bold color. Use a solid wall, no doors or windows. Now paint the other three the muted color. Use the last to paint trim, if possible. You really wont spend much more money, just more time and the effect is nice. Now as for the actual color of the bold wall. Use you favorite of the colors in the comforter, but dont make it an exact match. This look better when they are not so perfect, so get it a little bit lighter or darker.
Just have fun with it and good luck!

You need to keep in mind that the colors in your comforter are bold and that is very harsh on all the walls in a room. Your best bet would be to choose which color you like the most and make the wall behind your bed that color then choose a color a few shades lighter and less bold for the rest of the walls. This way you have an accent wall with bright color and the rest of the walls don't make you insane.

Color decisions may be affected by the type of paint you have to use, for example, paints that are specifically designed for use on rough exterior walls come in a limited range of shades, while there is a huge variety of colors available for use on interior walls.
White and neutral tones are an ideal backdrop to make a work of art or tapestry stand out.

Pick a lighter version of one of the colors in your bedspread. Your favorite of them would be good, considering it'll be all over your walls.
Beige carpet is good because it's a nuetral that goes with everything!
To assesorize your room, I would pick only one or two colors from your bedspread (this includes the wall color), otherwise it will look messy and unorganized.

If you want a warm feel try a light orange-cream color. For a cool feel try a sky-blue shade. Both should work well with most of your wall hangings also.

What about leaving the walls white and painting stripes of different widths and the colors from your comforter.
