in the middle of my living room this weekend. Its about the size of a basketball. Will I be able to get the hole fixed or will I have to replace the entire rooms carpet?

It is not hard just get a peice of the matching carpet at the carpet store and replace it if you are ingenious you can do it yourself pear out the destroyed part lovely and measure to fit and just set it in neatly, of course you will have to get carpet glue to hold it down, or if you prefer get a professional look at it and let them fix it for you tell them at first hand you dont want to replace the entire carpet in that area where it was destroyed, you know they might want to charge you too much, good luck.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. My dog made me so mad and I couldn't take it out on her because she didn't know better, but I did let her know through my tone of voice that I didn't like it... so, she put her tail between her legs and crawled under my bed.

No, you do not have to replace the entire carpet. Get a swatch for a couple of bucks and then you can replace or patch it. Over time, it will fade to look from brand new to the rest of your carpet if it's a light color.

Good luck.

Get the same type of carpet and cut a square into the carpet and replace it with the new carpet. Shampoo your carpets so they match.

Crate your dog until he learns to chew on his chew toys.

I have had my carpet patched before but it looked like crap. I think it depends on where the hole and seam is in your room is and if you have any left over carpet for the original that makes a difference.

bad doggie. that happens. a good carpet man can take a piece out of a closet & repair it so that you will never notice it. Notice I said "A GOOD CARPET MAN".
