My wife is going to kill me! I used the exact same crimson paint that was used to paint a wall in my living room to do touch up paint. The dried paint (I let it dry 1 day) is significantly darker looking than the totally cured paint. The hard fully cured paint has a different looking texture than the newly painted section. Someone please give me some advise. I am using Ralph Lauren Matte paint with a dard red or crimson color.

started to prime a room i'm about to paint. the existing paint aborbed the primer like a dry sponge. but now the existing paint and the moist new primer is now easy to peal off the wall right down to the dry wall. What do I need to do so I can prime and paint this room. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I am looking for a place to buy the miniature people for a christmas village. I don't want the normal ones that everyone sells they are too big for the houses. I am looking for ones that are true to scale with the houses. I REPEAT I DON'T WANT A BUNCH OF SITES THAT SELL THE MINI PEOPLE THAT LOOK LIKE THEY ARE 7 FT TALL COMPARED TO THE HOUSES. A long time ago I found a set that were really little and would stand on the front porches and in a gazebo but lost the set after a move. Thanks for your help.

I saw a few at the homedepot.com, but it doesn`t give much information on artificial trees. I need to be able to pack it up and store it away, and getting a real tree every single year seems like a waste of money. I have a small apartment, so please give good answers, I`m in need of help for the holidays!

Would someone be kind enough to give me opinions on this room setup?

-The walls are white. The ceiling is white and is 3 meters high. about 9 ft
-The floor is light colored ash.
-The curtains are yellowish cream with light color stripes.
-The desk and book case are matching light cherry wood color.
-They are classic styling furniture.
-The door is a very very dark brown (not reddish but more blackish brown) classic shaped door.
-The room has enough room to fit a couch /convertible bed.

The couch I am thinking about getting is a classic styled couch. The problem is the color.

The color I like is a dark brown color with floral accents in various cream and tan color. The brown is not as dark as the door but definetly darker than the book case and the desk.

Would this couch go well with the room mentioned above or are there too many dark elements in the room?

BTW currently there is no rug in the room.

Is this color too dark for a study room?

Is their a site that gives an outline or gives a crash course in feng shui?
I was also wondering - Is their a site where I can send a layout of a room, measurements and such, and then the things in the room and get a feng shui "plan-o-gram" type deal on how I should arrange a room?
