I'm redecorating a room, and I have a bed with two matching dressers from the sixties and a bedspread that I have to work with. The bedspread is white with pale green and grayish-purple ornate looking swirls (like what you would see on a wrought-iron hook). The floors are wood, and the walls are a pale green. I'm not going to paint the walls.

I'd like to add plants, fake flowers, and valances or curtains on two windows, and I'd like the room to remind you of an ornate garden. However, I don't want to spend more than $100, less if possible. If you have any money saving tips or just ideas in general, I could use them. Thank you in advance.

I am using a coffee table as a TV stand/entertainment center. It looks ok, but I was wondering if people will think it is strange when they see it. What do you think?

I have a large trunk I would like to stow under my bed for lack of room, the bed set is rather old and the headboard has wide rectangular "legs". All I've been able to find is circular bed raisers. What can I use, other than stacks of books?

I bought a townhome that has a 2 1/2 foot drop off my patio. I can't afford to put a deck in yet, but would like to install some temporary stairs. I moved 200 miles away from friends and family for a job, so need to be able to do it myself. I've done other smalled wood projects on my own and would prefer not to have to hire someone. Any ideas or tips?

There will be three bedrooms, but one of the bedroom will not be renovated (for future use). One of the bedroom will be converted to a study room that is linked to the living room area. I am looking for simple yet classy design.

We recently had a house built. The Couch and chairs we bought are a cranberry color. We have 2 story windows that we had Gold curtains custome-made. We would like to paint our wall a gold color, but a few shades lighter than the curtains. Any opinions on Color-on-color scheme even though the shades are different? Thanks for any help.

I am redoing a bathroom and have ripped out some cabinets. The existing sheetrock had some aweful texture on it and now there is no texture on the wall where the cabinets were. Is there anyway to start with smooth walls without replacing the sheetrock $$. Could I possibly sand the texture off the sheetrock? Thanks!

We are installing laminate flooring ourselves in mobile home. While the flooring locks into place easily, the walls seem to be off just a little which makes the laminate crooked in some places, it doesn't line up correctly and causes cracks where the laminates meet (they interlock on the sides but the cracks occur where the laminates meet top to bottom. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

These luxurious 100% Egyptian cotton sheets are manufactured in Florence, Italy, by Le Tolerie Toscane. I saw a limited selection on ebay, but I am not sure if they are selling authentic sheets. This brand is supposedly very famous for high-quality linens. What online or retail stores might carry these sheets? I've checked many high-end stores, such as Neiman Marcus, to no avail. Has anyone heard of these? By the way, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for durable, heavenly Egyptian cotton linens! Thank you for your insight in advance!

I need a nice name for a new, 4-star, luxury, hotel apartment project. The property is located in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
The name should not be an existing trademark and should preferably not contain the letter "P". This is because the Arabs cannot pronounce a "P" sound... so "Pepsi" be comes "Bebsi". The building is a 20-storey tower and is located in the heart of the city.
