There will be three bedrooms, but one of the bedroom will not be renovated (for future use). One of the bedroom will be converted to a study room that is linked to the living room area. I am looking for simple yet classy design.

It's hard to put down an average. If you're doing basic renovation like installing a few wardrobes and changing fixtures, you would probably spend about $10,000.
If you change the flooring, knock down walls and do rewiring, you could be spending close to $40,000 or more.
From your description of what you intend to do, somewhere in the region of $15,000 to $30,000 would not be far wrong.
The main thing is establish a good relationship with your contractor and/or designer. Be absolutely clear on what you want. Have a paper trail so there is no finger pointing later on and spend as much time on site as possible.
