I am using a coffee table as a TV stand/entertainment center. It looks ok, but I was wondering if people will think it is strange when they see it. What do you think?

I doubt in this day and age if anyone will think it is strange. I have been using one of my coffee tables to hold my TV and associated items for a while now and no one has said anything and believe me if anyone would it would be my friends.

I seen a lot people us a coffee table for an entertainment center and I was fine visiting there homes. But, if someone you know makes a comment because of the table. Tell them that you are more than happy if they want to buy a entertainment center for you.

If you are concerned about it looking odd, then put a table cloth over the coffee table to hide the look of it :)

You need some rugs in colors that tie the areas together but bring interest into the room. Plain whites or creams will only bland out the room areas. Choose a colorful pattern under the dining area and another in similar but different patterns for the living area. Wood colors are considered neutrals so they are not an issue. Your choices of too many whites and lights are. Colorful patterned rugs will add focus and interest to your areas and make your furniture choices stand out.. Think color, not bland.

ive used my coffee table for my tv stand many times .. its currently my desk for my computer, so ur not the only one who had done that b4 .. and besides who cares? it works doesnt it?
