I favored cream color like that of a soy milk something like almost a white color. Thats the color of my room walls and ceiling. It will help brighten the inside of the room.

maroonish red is always good, not as dark but kind of brightened up or faded out so not to make the room darker or seem smaller of course

Paint it like a lime-neon green. You'll be a lot happier, I assure you. Also, I see you MIGHT like nature...freakanature! At least look at those shades and give one a try. I know you'll like it.
