A birdhouse or televisionstand is what I'd like to make. Home Depot and Menards cuttings were too big!

I appreciate all the answers. This floor really does not look right to me. But, I just want to make sure what level of imperfection is acceptable. I want to be sure that I am not acting too picky.

Are there any means/methods for me to be sure.

I am about to paint my new home! Well the problem is that I am a bit overwhelmed. I want to do a colorwashing technique in my living room with golden yellows. Does anyone know the best way, and cheapest way, to colorwash a wall?
I love to do interior design, so I don't mind doing the work. Also, does anyone know some good colors that I could use in a SMALL bedroom? I would really like a romantic feel to it. And one last question... does Wal Mart sell glaze for interior walls? Thanks so much!!!

Why can't we just use a wood platform in a bed frame and sit the mattress on this? Or more to the point we know we can but why is the boxspring even needed and offered and thus so hard to find solution to finding a bed frame that supports just a mattress?

I am working with inside corner trim, not crown mold. I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to cut the miters in the corners because the trim sits on an angle, not flat.
