There is a stain right at the water line in my toilet. I'm not sure if it is a hard water stain or what. I have tried just about every toilet bowl cleaner on the market with no success. I have even tried straight bleach. Are there any other cleaners or home remedies that I should try.

I have a couple of suitcases that kind of stink and I was wondering what would be best for taking the smell out? Anything I can just leave in there or do I need to clean it with something? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

How can I get the yucky, musty smell out of my sponges?
I stoped buying the cheap ones because of that purpose. Now I buy "Scoch Brite", yet still they smell after only a weeks use.
This is very annoying to me. I have no clue.
I have a different sponge for each use, dishes, counters, cleaning, etc. but I can't seem to solve this problem!! PLEASE HELP!!
Thank you for your time!! Peacelilly

I inherited a beautiful dresser from my grandpa. The drawers don't smell when I snif them, but when I put my clothes in them, they come out smelling just like him! I miss him terribly, so at first I found this comforting. Now I just want the smell gone!

This has been a source of many debates in my family. My mom says the best way to wash clothes is to put the clothes in the washer, then put the detergent in, then turn the machine on. I say that you should put the detergent in first, turn the machine on, and let the water and detergent mix a little, THEN add the clothes. Comments? Opinions? Suggestions? Thanks.

Any ideas - have tried most things but scared to use anything too strong. It's a good quality chocolate brown colour, which shouldn't fade when rubbed.

Any tips would be most grateful!

I have an ivory white robe that I have worned for a while. When it was new, it was really white Now it has a brownish color to it. I've only dry cleaned it with Dryel but that doesn't seem to get rid of the brown hue. Of course, I don't want to use bleach since that would ruin the silk altogether.

I have a problem with my glasses. There are spots that I have to literally scrape off the inside of the glasses. Or I have to soak all my dishes before they go in to the dishwasher. What can I do for this. I am having to put 1 cup of Baking soda in with the dishes to even get them clean.

I have tried Electrolsol tabs and cascade pillows with the dawn. I have also tried the Cascade liquid with the bleach... it works and then there is a a build up of some sort....

I was sent a product to sample in my home, it was electrolsol but it worked like a dream. I tried the Electrolsol on the shelf and well it didn't work the same. Is there more then one kind of electrolsol? That was the best stuff!

Thanks!

I've hear you can sterilize sponges in the microwave...wasn't sure if this was true or not, or if anyone has actually done it and how you actually do it.
