Alert!!! Poison in toothpaste and cough syrup. Brands below?

Dollar stores are selling several brands of tooth paste and cough syrup from China that contain a poison that is used to make anti-freeze. Please look at your tooth paste and cough syrup, if they are made in China, you can report any adverse reactions or problems to the FDA's Med Watch at 1-800-332-1088. The following names are the only ones that have been identified at this time
All China imported cough syrup
All China imported toothpaste
Cooldent Flouride Toothpaste
Cooldent Spaermint Toothpaste
Cooldent Ice Toothpaste
Dr.Cool Toothpaste
Everfresh Toothpaste
Superdent Toothpaste
Clean Rite Toothpaste
Oral Max Toothpaste
Oral Bright Fresh Spearment Toothpaste
Bright Max Peppermint Flavor Toothpaste
ShiR Fresh Mint Floride Toothpaste
Please check any purchases from any Dollar store, if they are imported from China, then dispose of them. First make sure that no one in your house hold has used them

leepal, I also heard that a Colgate (fake) is on that list

Now I'm hearing that some are under the (fake) crest and colgate labels

The solution is simple. Don't buy imported health products made in China or India. The FDA does not have enough personnel or budget to test everything that comes into this country so it's pretty much Buyer Beware!

Perhaps this should be a lesson to never by a product to be ingested at the dollar store. You cannot trust the source.

this is why companies should pay the higher wages and keep all this work in America, at least we would know the source, and tougher laws!
