I have a black shirt with some paint stains on it. The tag says not to dry clean and machine wash only. I always thought that you could dry clean any and all clothing. Why not certain clothes? Is it the fabric?

I have an approx. 30 year old flower girl dress that is slightly yellowed. I'd like to restore it so that my daughter can wear it, but it appears dingy even after two home cleanings. It had a chocolate stain that came right out, so it's very easily washable. Any ideas?

Because I use a fair bit of hairspray (I single-handedly caused global warming) and my bathroom counter could stand to be cleaned. However, the cleaners I've tried haven't worked.

We have waaaaay too much clothing at our house. We are always giving clothing items away and we still seem to have too much. Where can I find a good guideline about how many of each item it is good to have? I would like to read up on this before it is time to buy fall clothing. Thanks in advance!

My husband's work shirts are pure cotton polo style shirts. I have been using Shout to spray the armpit of the shirt prior to washing it but I've noticed that whenever I am ironing them, they still have that underarm odor. I am using a good detergent but it still doesn't get rid of the odor completely. Any tips?
