All the new freezers seem to have "oil free compressors". Since we're looking to buy a new freezer, I thought it would be helpful to know the difference.
Thank you, any of you who can help ..

I have a microwave (1600w), toaster oven (1200w) and coffee maker (1000w) each plugged into a different recepticle but all on the same circuit. It's possible that they will all be running at the same time for a few minutes. I tried it and it didn't trip the breaker. But is this 3800w total too much? If you divide 3800w by 120v you get 32 amps but I'm not sure this is a correct calculation for AC power.

Had anyone else experienced this? We've had some light fittings put in and were told when they were being sold to us that they were super-energy-efficient, used up very little fuel and that the bulbs would "last for ages"..and incidentally the shop assistant who sold us the fittings "has exactly the same fittings and they're just fantastic". Our centre ceiling light has 5 bulb fittings in it (replaced those 2 weeks ago and 3 have popped; the 2 at the fireplace have 2 bulb fittiings each and 1 of these has popped already. They're not cheap either! Doesn't seem to matter whether I choose a low wattage (I believe they come in either 25 or 40 watts and I always choose the 25). When I phoned Litecraft to explain this to them, I was told that to avoid this, I've to put the bulbs in with a tissue as the "oil that comes off of human hands depreciates the power within the bulb"..eh!? I've done all of that and I'm still 18 months down the line, buying bulbs every other week! Any advice?

my dogs are on frontline, but that hasn't helped this year. we have had a very warm winter so far, and the flea problem has spread throughout the house.

I think it is mostly hair and I really don't like using a lot of chemicals in the house.

My seventeen year old daughter is going away with some friends on a roadtrip, and while she's gone, I want to redo her room.

She's always saying she wants to redo it, but she has no ideas on how yet.

So I thought as a nice suprise, i'd do it for her.

I need some ideas on stuff to get her, and heres what she needs.

1. She got rid of everything on her walls, she said she grew out of it all, so I need things for her walls.
2. Some things to put around the room in decoration.
3. Some things for her desk, etc.

Her favorite color is purple, so her walls are purple and so is her bedding.

Also, i'm redoing her bathroom, which is pink, so I need some tips on that.

If your sixteen/seventeen/eighteen and can give me some pictures of what your rooms look like, or if your a mother who has a child that age, that would be really helpful.

Or to find something online and give me a picture.

Thank you everyone.

I don't think there is anything more pleasing than your SO arriving home and viewing everything trimmed neatly? It adds so much to the ambiance. I love to run my hand over a freshly manicured bush. It is so soft and smooth! I would love to go into landscaping.

Roto rooter came after I called a plumber and the town and both said to have someone clean the line. It appears to be either dry wall bc the house was vaccant for so long.. but most likely roots. Im freaking out bc he said something to the effect of having the entire pipe dug up and the roots removed.. trees cut down... and all i can see are dollar signs.. anyone have advice on this...
