The first thing you should check is the connection between the cord and the prongs on the side of the coffee pot. This is a weak spot on all percolator's that have a removeable cord, and after awhile they get burnt, the holes in the cord looks burnt and then one of the prongs gets burnt and it eventually doesn't make contact when it's plugged in. So if your cord plug looks discolored or one of the prongs looks bad, that's probably the problem. Otherwise there is a thermal fuse in the bottom that can be replaced by a repair person.
