I know it sounds strange, but I heard it works and I'd like to know if any of you have tried it.

hi, im doing an addition to my home, and right behind my home is a driveway thats about 4 inches thick and its on the same level as the BOTTOM of my existing home foundation. the driveway is as wide as exactly half of my house, but my addition will be the size of my existing house(i put gravel on the other half which dosent contain the driveway, and its on the same level as the driveway). so i was wondering instead of tearing out my exisiting driveway and putting in gravel, could i just lay the new home foundation on top of it, the driveway is very thick and it has rebar, it also has no cracks.

I have two apple trees in my yard and they did not bear ANY fruit this year. How can I make sure this does NOT happen again. (I am thinking it is because of the late snow we had this year)

Every winter we have an outrageous gas bill. AND I can't stand being on the budget plan and paying over $300/month in the summer months when we don't even use heat. I'm considering using a kerosene heater in main living area of the house so we don't have to turn up the gas heat so high. Are they dangerous/unsafe?

I have a slab house and I hate carpet. I have allergies and don't need the dirt and dust that collects. I would like to have wood or tile floors. I have seen the acid finished floors that look quite elegant. I would like to know which is the best choice for me in terms of feasability and cost. and where do I find someone to do acid washing if I go that route.

Initially the alarm went off (but has stopped) However, the alarm box outside the house is still flashing and the attack light is showing on the keypad. I have tried to do a reset but nothing seems to work - have just moved into the house and previous owners left us no details of the alarm.

I love to burn fires and just moved into a home where I can actually burn 2 fires at once. We had a lot of trees cut down this year and I would like to split it and use it for the winter. Please help me.

Thank you

Why or why not?

Is there anything special you can do to utilize them? I bought a 'seed mulch' of daisy and alyssum to scatter over a large area, but I know I won't be able to get them to grow and get to seed before it's too cold (frost). I wanted to save them for next year.

I put a 3 inch diameter hole in the corner of a fiberglass shower when unloading it from the truck. I purchased a repair kit from the manufacturer but it appears to be intended for only minor repairs. Is there a good way to repair this, such as with a fiberglass "backer" or something then apply the repair kit?? I have good access since the shower is still sitting in the driveway. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
