Ask Dingelbury. When I lived with her I wasn't allowed to put my clothes in my closet. She and her dirty hippie had other ideas for that space.

You can grow African Violet in your closet, but you need to keep fluorescent light on all day and all night. Perhaps, it's not a good idea...

Palm trees are quite good, or oak trees, I once had a variety of over 345 rose bushes in mine but the wife made me take em outside as she kept getting thorns stuck in her favourite frocks.

There isn't much that don't need some light. I guess you could try mushrooms.
