My best friend really needs to get into her boyfriend's locked briefcase. I know it's dishonest but it's important to her so it's important to me. Does anyone know how to pick the lock and get into the briefcase without breaking it??

Hey everyone, I'm a total newbie for lawnmowers and need some help picking one out. I'm basically looking for a Gas powered lawn mower to cut the grass once a week. We live in a Townhouse so our lawn isn't too big. I heard Electric lawn mowers are not that great for cutting grass and take up a lot of electricity to recharge their batteries, hence looking for a Gas powered mower. Does anyone know the difference between a Self-Propelled, and a Hand Push Mower? My budget is roughly $200-300...any suggestions would be more than appreciative.

I had a 2 bathrooms tiled on the floor and wall and my kitchen floor was also tiled about a week ago. It has this film over it I tried cleaning it off with a wet rag but it left the grout dark in some spots around the toilet in one bathroom so I didnt do anything with the other bathroom or the kitchen yet. My questions is what did I do wrong? I have to get the film off some how can someone please help me by telling me how to go about it. The grout was not been sealed because the person that put it down for me said it didnt need to be sealed. Is that true? Please help me with this situation because I have guests coming in about 3 weeks and I need to take care of this ASAP!

Crazy enough, I lived in government housing for 5 yrs while I went to college. I had a garbage disposal in my apartment and loved it. Its the only thing I really miss about living in the welfare apartments.
Now I live in a small town and have a new septic with an aeriation thing on it. Will I be able to attach a garbage disposal to my sink without problems or should I just get used to not having one?

I have a huge yard and out of financial need I push mow my yard. It takes me 6 hours almost on a good day. This morning at 6:10 AM sharp, I was mowing. The neighbors look at me like I am nuts. I will probably buy a self propelled mower and a riding mower after I get out of debt next summer.
I have to say, my yard looks beautiful after I am done. I live on a corner on a hill, so I have to push mow a giagantic amount of hill out here. Its probably close to about 10 feet tall.
Would a self propelled lawn mower help me get the job done next summer? How does it work.

Our chairs are a dark khaki colour, but when people sit on them, white dust comes off on their clothes. I have tried a pressure washer, but the "dust" problem remains. I was wondering if their is a chemical solution or some kind of special cleaner which might do a better job.

my ex ruined a family heirloom, my dad's old heavy sheepskin jacket through years of wearing it whilst smoking, now it's smells gross. I'm not a big fan of the chemicals used in dry cleaning, so is there another way I can clean/treat it???

I noticed at the laundrymat that the water does not appear at the bottom of the window, it only rises just below - presumably filling a basin below that the perforated washer chamber / cylnder spins thru. I know that they've had a problem with patrons putting in too much soap and causing an overflow. I'm wondering if they are reducing the water level in the washer to combat that problem (and cut down on their costs for water and hot water - very cheap place)?

I used the laundrymat today and my clothes seem to be clean and free of soap (the rinse cycle is the same "low water" situation); so maybe the washer is not designed to have water at the height of the door?

I fell into a lake yesterday with them on, and though I took them off, unlaced them, and removed the inserts until they were totally dry, they still smell funny. Is there any hope for my sneakers to be stinkless again???

I have taken all the pipes apart from under the sink and they are clean and it still has a very slow drain. I have put chemicals down the sink and nothing is working! The plumber is asking for $300, so the idea of doing it myself is sounding real good! By the way, nothing else is backing up in the house except the plumbing around the kitchen sink. Help!!!!!
