The old sink has three holes, with the two outer ones six inches apart. The new faucets seem to be designed for outside holes that are 8 inches apart. It would be very difficult to drill through the cast iron and porcelain. Porcelain sinks like that aren't available anymore, and it is very nice so I want to keep it.

I am going to have a house custom built in the next year. I was wondering if I could save alot of money by only having the builders do the frame and having contractors come in for electric and plumbing and basically doing all the interior work (drywall, painting, tileing, flooring, etc.) myself. If so about how much would I be saving?

I bought a blood orange tree about 3 months ago and its planted in good soil, I have a shade over the top cause teh sun here is merciless and it gets about 125 tops. Its very humid during summers and so far the tree seems to be doing just fine. I keep it watered regulary if not all the time. Its still pretty small. I want to know when it will start growing more. What kind of fertilizer should I use?

Hello,

My 2006 Troy Bilt "Pony" has a 17.5 hp B&S in it. After it warms up and makes a couple of passes around my yard, it starts to surge, and then it wants to die. With all of this rain we have been having, I REALLY need to get my lawn cut, and therefore get my 8 month pregnant wife off of my heiney... HELP!!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I want to make some shirts for myself because 1. I'm cheap and don't want to pay $30 for mass-produced crap, and 2. I have a month left of summer and nothing much to occupy my time with. I'm thinking about stitching designs onto plain cotton/polyester shirts, drawing with some sort of fabric paint/markers, and *maybe* screenprinting with a tutorial I found online. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best quality supplies to use? Care to be cynical and suggest possible disasters? Thanks x]

I have a 70's split level with a basement, they added natural gas later and wrapped godawful ugly steel pipes around the house to run gas to the HWH, deck BBQ, forced air heat, and gas cooktop in the kitchen. Is there a way to run these through the attic, walls or something, and is it mass expensive, and who would I call? Thank-you!

...and was wondering, I have heard that certain liquids like lemon juice and tomato sauce might stain the surface if it is let set. Are there other foods or liquid cleaners that I should steer way from with this sink?

I have fosset in the garden for the garden hose that I need to replace. I cannot find any markings on the fosset that describe its brand. On one side its embossed with a captial T and on the other side it says USA. Does anyone know who is likely to have made this fosset?

Thanks for any ideas

I have been using a local dry cleaners for about two years. They have done an excellent job in the past, but last week they ruined one of my shirts. The shirt was a soft yellow 100% cotton. The day I picked up my dry cleaning I noticed a white shirt in the midst. When I looked closer it was my yellow shirt!! I confronted the owners and they seem a bit nervous and confused, while lacking a real explanation. One of them starting speaking in their native language and in one of the sentences used the only word in english "bleach". To make a long story short I asked if I could get a compensation for the shirt since it was not my fault that they used the wrong chemical, but they refused because they say it is a non-brand. After refusing I then suggested that I get a free dry cleaning the next go round, but they refused again. They kept on saying they have to get in touch with the company. It has been about two weeks now and they have not given me an answer. What should I do next?
