like they are SO great. Well I think they suck really. Of course they use less electricity, they only give off about 17 volts worth of light! This is just enough that I still have to feel for the walls to not bang into them, I might as well be in the dark!

Why do people like these bulbs so much?

I am an American and I live in Morocco where we have 220 volt outlets. In America we have 110.
Besides 110 volts what is the practical difference? Is it better to supply homes with one over the other?

I live in Northern Utah. We have somewhat harsch winters. I wonder what are some cold, late winter veggies that I could not put down in my garden bed? I had absolutley no luck this year with lettuce? Should I start them from seed than now or from plantlings? thanks.

My plants have long vines, large leafs, and many flowers, but no pumpkins. The flowers open up and after a few days fall off. I have seen many bees in the flowers and I myself have put the pollen from one flower into another. I know that some flowers are supposed to be male and others female. Based on what I observe, they all seem to be male.

... that isn't any danger to my 2 year old and less worrying his bunnies. Every pack I've come across says it's poisonous, garlic doesn't apparently work long term and I've no chance of pinching my hubby's beer for the slugs! Help anyone!!

My parents keep saying this since I was young that household pests like spiders' pee can cause the lips, eyes or whatever sensitive body parts to 'rot'. How true is that?

I opened the valves under the sink all the way and it didn't improve the water pressure. It's a new sink and the pipes and screen are totally clean. Is there another choke point?

my engine gets loaded easily, like when mowing a lawn while driving up an incline. ive tried all the simple remedies to try and improve the power- swapped out carbs from my old engine, new air filter, new fuel filter, new fresh fuel lines- but nothing seems to be working.

some people have said that the valves may not be seated properly. how to i check to see if this is the problem? what should i look for and how do i correct it?

my engine is a B&S 17.5hp, OHV, single cylinder; Craftsman I/C model

I purchased several rose bushes and two rose trees back in the early spring... I planted them before the frost and and they were doing fine... they had leaves on them and were healthy... the weather started warming up and got really warm, and then we had a horrible cold spell and they got bit I suppose ... After this, they died and not even a leaf come back... and the stalk has turned brown and looks dead... Should i return them or should I wait and see if they come up next spting from the root.. I thought they should have put out from the root already... i hate to be out of all that money.... What can i do? Are they finished or is there hope?
Please help

I have always had ants but they have always stayed in just two places. One was by back door and the other was by a skirting board in my living room. They never wondered any where so I left them to it. However, they have now stared to crawl all over my house. I wentto buy ant powder yesterday and when I came home the floor of my living room was covered in not only ants but flying ones and all.

The powder worked, but today I have just been into the kitchen and there are flying ants every where . Up the walls and on the floor, it's creepy. I have put more powder down but I'm not hopefull that by tommorow they wont be back. Any advice as how to get this sorted? - thanks

I removed my kitchen faucet (8 inch single-handle faucet with sprayer) and somehow lost the nut that attaches underneath the sink to hold the faucet in place. I'm pretty sure it's called a basin nut but I've searched and searched online so that I can order one but can't find the part. The pipe it threads around is 3 1/2 cm. or 1 6/16 in. If I remember it was a hex nut. Anyway, Does it go by another name than basin nut? Better yet, where can I order one. I tried lots of plumbing supply sites but can't find the part. What should I be looking for?
