Next year, I'm planting LOADS of flowers, I'm planting them all around my open field near the trees. I'll probably be sowing about 1500 seeds indoors. A lot of the seeds are Annual Foxglove, Hollyhocks, Columbine, Snapdragon, Balloon Flowers, Zinnias, Penstemon, and many more, that I've forgotten. Which is the best, and healthiest way to grow them inside? I was thinking of getting these things called "biodomes" where it can fit 60 seeds, but i would need to many. I might be getting a mini green house thing for indoors, which has floresent lights, and about 4 rows of soil. What is the best way? Any suggections or advice on any of these plants or on sowing them inside? I live in ontario, canada, zone 5, and i will be sowing them side Anyway from Janruary to April. Thanks:D

I removed as much as the grout haze as I could by simply wiping down. It doesn't look like there is any haze left, but my tiles don't seem as dark and shiny as they did before grouting. I don't think it's leftover grout haze, but even if it was there are squares of marble in the design, so I don't think I can use the commercial haze out. Is there any way to get the shine and color back in my tiles? Should I buff the floor with sheepskin, flannel, or something like that?

We opened up the kitchen drop ceiling. On one wall we will have a good amount of space, but unfortunately we discovered the huge oven vent on a different wall. Do we box the vent back in? Are there oven vent alternatives? The oven is not on an outside wall, so the vent is in a j-shape. We (okay, I) already took out the sheetrock (about four feet wide) but I left the crown molding in place. Any suggestions?

Ok, we recently put another layer of landscape fabric and rocks over the old and existing fabric and rocks around the tree and up to the tree trunk. We did that 2 months ago and it was fine. We haven't had much rain and now I notice that it's fall outside! At first I thought it was just the lack of rain, but my neighbor across the street has the same type of tree and his is not like mine. The leaves are turning yellow and falling off everyday. I am so worried because it's a beautiful, large tree that if dead it would cost a lot of money to remove and make our yard look dead.

Please help! Do you think it's because of our extra layer of rocks and fabric that's killing it? Yikes!

Here are some pictures of my tree and what I've done:

A staple gun is something I don't have and don't want to invest a lot of money in getting. I know there is a nail-in type of wire-to-wall retainer/holder but I don't know what it's called! I go to places like Target and spend a while trying to describe it! What is it called?

I am trying to put up crown molding in a room and it is not going well. The inside corners of the room are 90 degrees and no matter how I cut it nothing works the corners never match. The back of the crown molding I'm using is flat in the middle but the ends on each side slope away at a 45 degree angles. Im using a compound miter saw to cut. Can somebody please tell me where I am going wrong and how to get it to work?

I installed a laminate floor in the whole basement at a 45 degree angle, except one closet. I want to cut the edge so straight, I can lay down more wood directly next to the existing wood in the closet but not 45 since it is just closet.

I have always been complimented on my lawn. I use Scott's fertilizer every 3-4 months. However, two years ago, my lawn must of gotten a disease and was over taken by weeds.

I have gotten rid of all the weeds, but now there are many different types of grass growing and it still looks aweful to me.

What is the best way to get rid of the various types of grasses growing now and to replace it with all one type of grass?

I planted eleven different kinds this year! We have a tall multiheaded one that is two foot over the gutter on our one story house. We also have lovely small ones that are called sunset, one "lemon" that looks almost like a daliha, a strange dwarf with mico petals, traditional "giant" and even a lovely "citrus" one that has beautiful orange petals. :)
