i want to build a small water fountain for the birds. anyone have any free plans or a place to find them?

You can build a nice water fountain out of two flower pots (nice pottery ones).
One 6 inch for the top with a hole in the bottom to feed the pump through and one 17inch one with no hole for the bottom. Set a small pump in the bottom, place the smaller pot on top and add decorative stones, a water plant, whatever your heart desires. :)
You can even cover the pump hose with a piece of bamboo for a more natural look

If you can find one of the cheap plastic water fountains buy mortar mix and use as mold they come in large and small.Use a little small fountian pump lots of fun.
