HI there, I am looking to move a gas cooker to a different location in a kitchen but leaving the connection where it is, if that makes sense, can you get extension pipes??

Thanks

I had a new thermostat installed and it allows me to set several different time blocks during the day to specific temperatures. As an example, I can have the house at 72 degrees from 6 am to 9 am and then at 85 degrees from 9 am to 5 pm and then back at 72 from 5pm to 12 pm and so on. My fiance thinks that it is more energy effecient to leave the house at a constant temperature all day so the the air conditioner does not have to work as hard to cool down the house between temperature changes. I think it is a waste to cool the house all day long when we are not at home, and that "recooling" the house once in the evening takes less energy than maintaining the same temperature all day. Any thoughts on who is right?

My shower head now shoots in all different directions instead of straight down. Is there some sort of solution I can make that will clean out the holes and get the shower head to act normal again?

I've thought seriously about lightly sanding the old formica, and staining the countertops and then applying a sealant. Any ideas on products that would stand up to kitchen countertop wear? I need something that won't peel off in a year or two. Thanks!!!

How do you calculate the square footage of a house?- Do you count closets and attics or do you only calculate livable finished areas?

My boyfriend bought us a brand new headboard for $100 at a thrift store. It is $1,200 at Raymour and Flanigan. I hate it, he's not in love with it, but got it because it's so cheap. We've had it for a couple of months. I would rather make a headboard from scratch. We could sell it to someone for a few hundred dollars. He's just such a pack rat that I don't know what to do. I've already got him to throw out an old ugly couch, a futon from college, and a papsan chair. I'm a minimalist, and he's a pack rat. When I organize all his junk, it's turns into a horrible mess again in a week or two. Help!!

I'm looking to purchase a high-quality, microfiber queen sleeper sofa. It needs to have a very comfortable bed, preferably memory foam. Looking to spend under $2,500. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

We just bought a new american standard 13 seer air conditioner, and we always keep it set around 71, 72 and never really turn it off. it does cycle so its not continously running, but i was wondering if by runnning it a lot would it wear it out faster?

All I'm looking for is a vacuum cleaner that does what it's supposed to do--suck up dirt. Is there one brand better than the others? What about this dyson brand that's way expensive? is it worth the price?

I have a very expensive Turkish rug that has a smell even after a professional cleaning from a past roommate's cat or dog that I used to live with... I have heard of enzyme based cleaners that are supposed to be very effective at neutralizing all odor. I looked and there are many brands out there. Which is best?

Please don't answer with a can of elbow grease!! Obviously you no absolutely nothing about owning a pop-up camper!!
We have a rockwood which is also flag staff now, have followed all the procedures of air flow, never put camper away with any moisture, etc... We opened our camper and have large spots of mildew, using a mild detergent doesn't put a dent into the cleaning process! Has anyone found a better way or product that does not effect the waterproofing on the canvas?????
Thank You in advance for the help!!!!

My mom washed a cast-iron pan we just got with soap and water. The next morning there was this funky orange residue left on the bottom of the pan. What is the proper way to wash a pan? And is it okay to use soap in the future, since not using it grosses me out? :D thanks

One wall is actually on the side where part of the roof comes down. If I hang the shower curtain so that it's level, my head and shoulders are above the curtain. Is there a way I could install a flange to hold the curtain up on the sloped wall that will make it level w/the other wall? Help!
