I opened the valves under the sink all the way and it didn't improve the water pressure. It's a new sink and the pipes and screen are totally clean. Is there another choke point?

So you say you have removed the screen, it has to be the faucet providing both sides, hot and cold trickles. If you cannot clean the impedements out. Replace the faucet. Both hot and cold lines cannot be plugged up at the same time, so it should not be the water lines. 20 dollars for a cheap faucet. You just need someone that knows how to turn a wrench. Turn water off by the source, either under the sink or at the main providing no shut off under the sink. All of the instructions are in the Faucet Box.

Is the water pipe going to the sink the same size as all of the other pipes? Smaller pipe could restrict flow, giving less pressure.

If it is also a new faucet, there could be something in it blocking the waterflow. You may need to remove the stems (if a two handle faucet) or the cartridge (if single lever) and check it. Normally it is just the aerator, which you said is clean. Some deposits may have broken loose when the water was off.

Unscrew the end of the faucet, where there is a screen "trap." Sounds like it could be clogged, if you're getting SOME water out, just not with as much pressure as it should be.

Yes there is another choke point as you put it. The main lines that come from the wall to the unit could have issues. Remove them and either replace them or run a wire coat hanger through them to ensure clearance. Good luck.
