I cannot seem to find any online stores that sell this... I need a really long drill bit (with a small bore diameter) that is at least 48" long. I have wooden blocks halfway down my wall, and I need to drop a phone line through it, so I need a really long drill bit. Any suggestions? I will be doing this at least 5 times throughout my house (it is older, and does not have a lot of wiring in the walls), so I want to do it right (instead of cutting holes in the drywall, or running the lines on the outside of the wall).

Thanks for your help!

Where can I find cheap duvet covers? I want pink. I don't want to spend to much. I have tried a lot of websites such as pbteen, walmart, urban outfitters, target, overstock, ikea, and kmart. I don't want to spend a lot.

The lettuce is called buttercrunch bibb. The seeds are also very small, like bird seeds. I just don't know if one seed will sprout a whole head of lettuce, or if I am supposed to put more seeds in one pot. Thanks!

I've seen them at my schools, outside/inside classrooms, in lockers to hang jackets on, and now I'm redoing a room where they could be useful, but I'm not sure what they are called.

I am renovating my bathroom and plan to use tileboard in place of the surround for my tub. I can't seem to find any sites that have more than just a paragraph or two about proper installation and am looking for some good links or tips and tricks, especially concerning joints between two sheets of tileboard.

Our neighbors apparently don't believe in blinds, and we put up a fence already, but we can still see way too much of each other :) What is a good tree to put up that will grow fairly tall without having awful roots spreading out everywhere? We have mostly clay soil, and this would be southern exposure. Thanks!

I heard once that the kind of ultrasonic cleaner the jewelry stores use are different than the ones that are available retail, and that the ones you can buy are not safe for gemstones. is this true?

My son left his fork on the plate he was reheating and turned the microwave on. The fork was touching one side of the microwave when it arced and there is now no coating on a 1 in by 1/8 in. place on one of the inside walls. Is the microwave still safe to use? Is there some way I can repair it?

Hi folks

Any tips on how to revitalise leather gardening gloves that have gone all stiff? This usually happens when the gloves are nearly worn out anyway, but these gloves are still really nice and I'd love to know if it's possible to soften them again.

Thanks in advance.

It kind of looks like a cross between a palm tree and a spider plant on the small side. Mine looks like a mini tree, the trunk looks a lot like a palm tree's trunk but it's really thin, (less than a centimeter wide right now and about a foot tall) The top of the tree has spikey leaves that are about 6 to 12 inches in length, they kind of look like a palm tree's or a spider plant's leaves except they are thinner (about a centimeter wide) and are green in the middle with pink on the sides. anybody have an idea? i've been looking for a while and just cant seem to find anything similar.

My old roommate (who just up and left three months ago) lost his key to my apartment when he was here and took off three different window screens trying to get in through open windows. I am trying to get screens back on now. The screens themselves looks fine on all three.. they don't have any rips or holes, but the frames are damaged and bent and I would assume unrepairable. The frames all look similar to this "before" picture I found.. maybe a little bit worse.

Can anybody give me any direction in repairing this.. preferably low cost, since it's an apt. (I'm getting charged a lot of money if I have the complex do it). I talked to some guy at The Home Depot... but he had no idea what I was talking about.

So I have to buy my boyfriend a birthday gift and I was thinking of starting him off on a good power tool. He lives in an apartment right now so space is limited and doesn't really do to much but I don't want to get him a crappy one or one that has to much power that he will never have to use. Any suggestions?

I live in Upstate New York, which I believe is zone 5b. I'm pretty sure that means that my pineapple sage will not survive the winter outdoors. So my questions are 1, If I cover the outdoor plants with compost material such as fallen leaves, and pine branches, will they winter? 2) If I leave the plants in my garden until late September and then move them to the house, will they flower? Thanks
