Why would you want to shock them- are you a plant abuser? lol
Boiling water is water too, silly bannana- it doesn't make it healthy.

If it's not in direct contact with the plant tissue, it will probably just melt and water the plant. If it is contact with the plant, then it could potentially harm the plant; it's probably not the smartest thing to do if you want healthy plants.

i have plant in pots on the wall i have watered them with ice for years and obviously they are still alive ice is a slow water to water plants
