I have two dogs ( both jack russells ) and they both still wee in the house . Im not asking why they wee in the house, what I want to know is how to remove the smell. It's in the kitchen, its not on carpet or rug > its on stick-on tiles. I could pull up the tiles & buy new ones but that would cost around £70 and that would be my last option. The smell lingers in the kitchen and the moment you walk in you can smell a strong odour of urine. I'v mopped with bleach and normal kitchen floor cleaners but it still sticks. Any advice would be helpfull. thanks in advance

There is a forest fire burning about 40 to 50 miles from my town... No danger from fire here but we are getting lots of smoke. I am keeping the house closed as much as possible but the smell is seeping in.

Ultimately I will need to take down drapes and shampoo carpets .... However, the fire is still burning and it is too ghastly hot to do major house cleaning here in July. Please, do not bother to suggestion "air freshing sprays" unless you know of one with no scent what-so-ever.

hey guys, we have an open day this sunday, and as we are in the process of packing to move and still have stuff everywhere and not alot of places to put it, does anyone have any ideas on how we can make our home more presentable and inviting?
I've heard the old wives tale of biccys and flowers, but does this sort of thing really work?

Hello all,

I am going to be painting a fence in the garden which has never been painted before.

It has the usual grime, dirt etc on it and I was wondering if I have to clean this off b4 I start - I don't want to have to power hose it down as I don't want to wet it - (painting it in a day).

is there any suggestions on how to clean it prior to painting without wetting it!!

Thanks,

Sophia

Ever seen it or know where I can get some? I have a plant with the much larger leaves that looks like swiss cheese, but many years ago I saw a smaller regular size ivy plant with the leaves like swiss cheese. I actually thought bugs were eating it. Can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

Our above ground pool seems to be working fine and we have vacuumed on waste because the previous owners were slobs. When we try to vacuum on filter there doesn't seem to be any suction. We fill the hose with water etc. but no luck. Also there is no water coming out of the jet (should there be?) Hope someone can shed some light. My husband is ready to get a bulldozer. Between that and the cloudiness.

I am having troubles with my black clothes. Everytime I wash and dry them they always come out with white lint and it looks like tiny white thread is clinging to my clothes. I tried using my black work hat and wiping it clean with a wet rag, but that did not seem to help any. Am I doing something wrong?

I applied oven cleaner to inside of my very dirty BBQ gas grill and I let it sat over night and washed it off good.
Well, good news and bad news, good news is it cleaned off the grease, but the bad news is it also washed off the coding on the side of the grill wall. Instead of black wall, now is kind of white-ish...
I will heat it up real good to burn off the chemical first before using it, but...

Is it safe to use the grill?
