It seems I need to buy a new sponge to wash the dishes every week because it keeps getting mildew on it. Does anyone sell anti-fungal sponges?

Yes, you can get sponges with microban... However, if you put your sponge in the microwave damp for about 3 min. you can de-funk it ..... You can even run it through the dishwasher/ or washing machine... I replace my sponge about every 3 months... Good luck

Best way to keep you sponge from mildew is leave your dish soap on the sponge. Also to kill the germs pop your sponge into the microwave for a few seconds ,

I still believe in the microwaving your sponge to kill the bacteria. I have always placed the WET sponge in the microwave for maybe 10 seconds at the most (check it at 5 sec.) And then lay it out to dry and I never had bad odor after that.
But I quit using sponges and started using those throw away cleaning cloths. I found them on the cleaning aisles and you can use them for anything, I use them and if they start smelling I just throw them away. They are super cheap too.
