i wash every thing in cold water and hang them up and dont even but anything in the dryer except boxers and socks but my shirts are still shrinking in length, im not a clothes freak or anything i just need a solution to this problem, please help!

im 16 years old 5'10 130 pounds and where a size medium, im not a clothes freak or anything but i wash all my clothes in cold water then hang them up , i dont even but anything in the dryer except boxers or socks, my shirts are just shrinking in length, can anyone answer this question please i need to find a solution that works so i dont have to buy new clothes all the time!

The quality is probably not very good. Next time you might want to purchase a little more expensive shirt; not necessarily designer, but a brand. There is a reason that branded apparel is not the cheapest out there...they have to live up to their name and can not risk alienating repeat customers by producing shoddy/shrinking goods.

I had the same problem with my husbands wife beaters, I had bought a cheaper brand and they shrank horribly. he is a 2x and they were the size of a childs. went back to the Hanes

check the fabric that the shirt is made from.

plus the knit of the fabric could lead to more shrinkage upward

I'll bet you are still growing and don't even realize it. When you hang your shirts pull down on them when they are still wet and stretch out.

also you might want to make sure you buy pre-shrunk shirts. that way the size you buy is the size you keep!
