I live in a some-what small apartment. The hall is not large enough to display my two poster-sized black and white travel photos. I also have some family pictures that are in black and white. So I was thinking about a wall with all black and white photos. My couch & loveseat are black leather, black coffee and end tables with a red accent rug (i am wiling to get a new, different color rug).

My question is what color would go well with what i just described....or any color at all?...or maybe I'll paint the wall the couch is on and leave the photo wall white (but that seems to make the two compete for the eye).....

Your thoughts????????? Thanks!!!

Don't say fume free easy off. I don't need any chemicals spilling into my food the next time I use my oven. I was thinking baking soda and water and letting it set. Whats your thoughts of cleaning the inside of oven without getting toxic fumes from chemicals?

I've come to the conclusion that other than walking her more, there is no real solution to the dog pee spots. Is there a type of grass that is more resistant to dog pee spots, however?

Hi everybody.
While I was watering my roses today, I noticed a big ugly spider just sitting on the wall.
It didn't have a web, and it was just sitting there.
It was tan.
It...must not be a spider, because it has 6 legs, but it looks very fat, and just like one!
I couldn't get too close to it, so it just looked...hollow, like an empty shell.
It had pinchers.
What horrible breed did I find?

Um, Hi, You see, I had this big seperate filter thingy that you attach to your tap with a rubber tube, but its a pain in the butt to change it, so I want the one you attach to the tap. Which brand is better, PUR or BRITA, If you have used both or one, please give me a review of them, and if you have a brand you think is better tell me and give a review. Thanks! P.S. By review I mean EVERYTHING! Price, efficiency, reliability, etc.

I want to purchase a good leather sofa that could last me years, and I have no kids to get it marked up. It does have a lot of workmanship on it, and I want to ask you all is this too much or not worth it?

I don't want to go less as I have seen sofas cheaper get scratched up, or marks on it. Your thoughts.

They are connected so the colors will need to be complementary. My comforter set is brownish toupe with red and green embroidery. LOL, it sounds really gross from this description but its not. It's sort of "fancy", I guess, although it looks fine in my typical teenage room. However, the walls are all brown, which doesn't look so great with my bedding. It's like an explosion of one color of brown. Anyway, I'd like to repaint and want some color suggestions. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I would like to start composting but I am so confussed!!! I found this container that you can set on your kitchen counter as you collect materials. Ok, easy enough and not too expensive. After that I have no clue. I saw where you can buy this tumble bin thing that you keep outdoors that stores and creates the compost, but the cost is more than I can handle. What are all of my options and how do I even start a conpost. My goal is to have a herb garden in my kitchen or on my front porch so I really don't need to mass produce or anything. Also, how long would it be before I would be able to use the compost?
