Um, Hi, You see, I had this big seperate filter thingy that you attach to your tap with a rubber tube, but its a pain in the butt to change it, so I want the one you attach to the tap. Which brand is better, PUR or BRITA, If you have used both or one, please give me a review of them, and if you have a brand you think is better tell me and give a review. Thanks! P.S. By review I mean EVERYTHING! Price, efficiency, reliability, etc.

the faucet filters suck. they are better than nothing, but dont take out much and dont last long. home depot sells an R.O. made by general electric for about 200 bucks and that will give you PURE WATER for the rest of your life! i install them for 50 bucks. it has its own faucet and will provide 10 gallons a day for all of your cooking and drinking water. if you care about what isnt going in your body, dont mess with those other filters.

Okay, I have used a PUR water filter jug to put in my refrigerator since I was in college. They are cheaper than Brita, and I think from watching my friend's experience last a lot longer per filter. I have had the same filter in my jug for almost a year, and I drink water all day every day.
Their faucet attachment filter works really well as well.
If you are looking for a cost effective brand, I would go with PUR, I have been very satisfied with them, and I am picky about my water. I usually won't drink any bottled water except Evian!

a great kind of the water I drink is filtered faucet water and prefer that. no longer that there is fairly something incorrect with faucet water, this is purely harsher and filtered has a softer, greater friendly style. i do no longer think of i've got ever had bottled water.
