Get some instructions on the web for composting. I know it will take a couple of years to get good compost, but if you dont have the money to buy topsoil it's the best route to go. Oh and it doesn't hurt to add in rabbit and horse manure. Do not add dog and cat- too many parasites.

I know that good garden loam, will be 1/3 sand, 1/3 clay and 1/3 silt.
Compost will fill the silt needs.

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for. Just giving this to you for food for thought.
